The chandelier Birdies Nest is the newest version of the Birdie Series by Ingo Maurer. In the anodised ceiling baldaquin two transformers are mounted; from here individual adjustable aluminium wires go outside, at which ends the bulb socket, with its characteristic wings of authentic geese feathers, are located. This innovative arrangement enables the use of the Birdies Nest chandelier even at a small ceiling height.
