Designed by philippe starck and produced by flos, the cicatrices de luxe series consists of 3 chandeliers/ceiling mounts and one floor model. the models have an archaic feel while utilising 20-21st century technology; a theme often pursued by starck in his other designs. the 'scars of luxury' ceiling fixtures consist of hand cut crystal glass vases/diffusers with 35 watt halogen bulbs. circuitry is provided by metallic circuits silkscreened directly onto the glass.
